Daily sketchbook

The enormous oak tree outside of my studio is bursting into leaf. It’s such an event! As if the leaves are unfurling right in front of my eyes. I’ve got lots of distractions this week so went and sat outside with my sketchbook and gouache for an hour. Amazing how when you just sit down with paints something always happens that’s good!
